Hello All. I am need of new rear springs on my 55 Buick Super. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good shop to purchase these from.

The two that I know of and have spoke with are Kanter and Performance Suspension Technology.

Has anyone dealt with these folks? Good experiences? Bad? Who else might be able to help me?

    Thanks alot all.

both of those companies are very reputable. did they have your springs? I have a 2dht/stick Century that needs shocks and springs too.

Century, I bought the springs through PST. They only took about a week to show up. Amazingly fast. The Super goes into the shop next week!

Try your local NAPA or other real part store. They can get coil springs for you. They may not have a listing for 55-56 cars but I just took measurements of my springs (height, coil diameter, and end type-double pig tail) and ordered them. I chose slightly taller variable rate springs that actually come out of a late eighties/ early nineties roadmaster wagon.

I am sure the other companies you hae mentioned wil give good service and prices as well.
