Pump mount grommets

I put a restoration kit (aka seal kit) in my top pump over the winter. The new rubber grommets that came with the kit to mount the pump to the trunk floor are really loose in the floor. They appear to be the same shape & size as the old ones, but the pump is pretty much just setting there.

I see Year One has (or had; oooold catalog) the rubber grommets available. Has anyone used these to know how well they fit?

Any tricks to make my existing grommets actually lock in? They sit down all the way, but it appears the lip of the grommet can't catch the floor because of the rolled lip of the hole. Although if the lip wasn't there I think the grommet would be too small anyway.

    Thanks
