All the good Buick people sure help a lot. Turns out I had broken a pushrod. Bought the parts I needed at the show and fixed the car in the motel parking lot. I was lucky actually as it could have been a lot worse.
A BIG thanks to Mike Phillips of Automotive Machine & Performance in Philpot, KY for all his help in guiding me through the diagnosis and reviewing my work. Also thanks to Mike Garrison for his help, Larry Key in BG for his offer of help, Dan Peper in Loiusville for his generous offer and my traveling buds John Egel and Chris Horn for their assistance.
Now for the 600 mile drive home.
