Pulled the distributor cap on my 64 300 to install a Pertronix ignition and noticed alot of metal shavings laying on the distributor. For an $70 I can exchange the Pertronix module and coil for a complete Pro Form HEI distributor. Anyone use the Pro Form distributor and what is your take? The Mallory unit for this motor is $400 and I don't want to spend that much. I'm reluctant to clean out the shavings and install the Pertronix module because once I do that I can no longer exchange it.
