Within the last few days I have developed a rattle on my power steering pulley. I really don't know what the problem is or how to fix it. Can anyone offer some possible problems and solutions?

    Thanks,
    Jacob

Believe it or not Jacob, it could very well be the belt. They can make rattling noises that sound just like a bearing. Try another belt. You can also spray some belt dressing or hold a piece of soap against the running belt. If it is the belt, the noise will go away temporarily. Change the belt, it is probably glazed.

What he said.......also if your pulley shaft has a nut, make sure that is not loose.:bglasses:
