hello , anyone out there using aftermarket pumps ? Thinking about getting something new in there maybe lighter and prettier as well .
I've still got the stock pump on my 300 but I'm looking to do a possible hydroboost system on it. I doubt the stock pump will handle that much volume of fluid. Might be changing parts here too.
Your pump will handle it.. Only thing I like to do is put a 2nd return in the stock tank.. Teeing into the return line can cause a issue at a bad time. Hard steering & braking at the same time...
Great info, thanks. I figured the stock pump on these was pretty limited in volume but I guess unless you’re running autocross both systems won’t get that much demand. Thanks again, Bill

nice pump but it looks like a plastic reservoir. Might be a problem plumbing in a double return for ps and hydroboost if you went that direction.
That is a very nice clean setup!! what's involved with that serpentine system? alternator and Compressor are tucked up really nice.
I have the turn one universal pump and their gear box. I just added an oil cooler in the return line of the gear box to build up some restriction. It works flawlessly on street but I guess two individually lines would be better for hard track days.
No, its a modified LS1 pump from turn one. The old Saginaw pumps creates unnecessary high pressure & heat and of course it robs alot of power.
