Im working with a 71 skylark w/ a 72 stock 455 . I have the TA sp1,TA super comp headers, TH400, and a chevy 12-bolt w/ 4.10 gears. Taking the TA sp1 intake with the best power range of 2,500-6,500/. what is the best Power Package for this engine? looking to make a little over 500 hp, without taring apart the engine. John
ProCharger or Nitrous Without a good flowing set of heads that can be very hard but if you wouldn't mind adding a centrifugal supercharger kit that blows thru a carb or a nitrous kit then it would be easy.
Heads If i took the heads to a machinest and had him do: Bowl Work Three Angle Valve Job Unshroud Combustion Chambers Port and Polish Bigger Valves Better Springs Mill Along with a bigger cam, What would the hp be near?
