Going to go see a 1970 Pontiac Lemans next weekend, and i dont know where to look up information for numbers or options. Could someone provide a link to help decode 1) Body Tag 2) Rear end 3) Engine, (block, heads, intake, carb, distributor, etc...) 4) Transmission 5) Any other easy to see info you think may be useful. Also; I know what to look for in an A-body hardtop car, in terms on body quality, and main spots for rust, and stuff like that. How is a convertible different? I know the frames are boxed, do they have any weak points? Obviously the rear windshield isnt there, how does that affect rust issues? Thanks for any help!
