He was taken to the emergency room tonight with stomach pains and such so bad he was doubled up in pain. Turns out he has a blockage of his colon?? Anyway Im not sure what all that means right now but I know they are calling in a surgeon. If anyone knows what all that means I would appreciate a little info. send it to mike@mrbuick.com thanks.
Mike, Sorry about your Dad, Hopefully the medical team will order a CTScan, thats the best and fastest way to see whats going on in there. Be on them to order that scan, we lost alot of time when our boy was sick last winter becouse they wouldnt do that right away, when it was finally done the problem was instantly recognized. We hope he's better and out of there soon feeling better. Prayers for your dad are on the way. D & B
Done Mike!! Lord willing, your Dad's colon will be cleared up and he'll be on the road to recovery quickly. :TU: My sister is a certified nutritionist, and is always expounding on the benefits & necessity of doing a colon cleanse. There are several natural remedies (mostly teas) that have proven extremely effective in cleaning out the colon. I've done that myself several times. I know it's imperative to have the colon functioning properly, with everything moving along quickly. Over time, we get a buildup in our colons from stuff we eat (pastas, etc. - ever notice how caked on dishes get from white flour after cooking?). In order for our bodies to get the proper absorption of the nutrients, the colon & the blood need to be clean. Drinking the right amounts of pure water (6-8 glasses a day) also need to be considered a 'must do'!! That helps flush out the impurities and keep us regular. I would highly recommend getting your Dad to eat as healthy as possible, along with drinking many glasses of water each day. Not sure what his current habits are, but, you get the idea.
Mike, I'll be praying for your Dad also. A few glasses of water each day really does go a long way. I hope things turn out OK. :bglasses:
Yea they did the CTscan last night at 830 I havent heard yet what was the decision. My step mom hasnt called us yet to tell us whats up. Thanks for all the prayers!! :TU:
Mike, 12 hours is a long time to wait to see what they are going to do, they must be trying other methods of clearing his colon before they go the surgery route (if that is what they have to do). I'm sure he's in good hands, please let him know we are praying for him. Good thoughts coming your way too buddy, I know it's tough when a parent is sick. Take care, Beth
God and I aren't on the closest wavelength, but I sure will send the, "Our Fatner" and "Hail Mary" prayers your way.

Looks like he has a "garden hose" down his nose thru his throat to his intestines and they said he had a "Kink" in his intestens and so they have to suck out his stomach to keep it free. Or something like that. I will be going to the hospital this evening to see him. Thanks for the prayers.
Keep your chin up Mike. You got a lot of friends here and were praying for your dad and you too. Hope this works out okay. John D
