I have a set of used TRW forged pistons...455 +.030...that I recently pulled from my motor. They appear to be in good shape. Have some scuffing down on the skirts but no gouges, cracks, etc. These include the wrist pins and rings but the rings should be replaced. They don't have a massive number of mile on them. Prior owner had put them in the motor when he rebuilt it years ago---car had 2500-5000 miles put on it since then. Reason for selling -I recently had the motor rebuilt and went with the .038 over pistons/narrower ring package. $125+ship. Patton Edit: BTW, these are the standard .030 over TRW forged replacement piston that has been sold for years---they have valve reliefs in them from the factory and I think a slight dish...I will get the exact part number off the top of the piston and post it tomorrow. You were asking for "flat top pistons"--not sure how specific you are being. Thanks
pistons Hi, Would like something lighter than a hypereutectic and will give about 12 to 1 compression at zero deck with 70 model heads.
