    X2! Great news!

Hey Pat, is someone staying with her 24-7? My opinion - when a child patient moves to the step down ward...they need a family member watching to ensure proper care. No matter how good the hospital is, the staff is understaffed and over worked, especially at night.

    All the best!

Wow. What an awesome, tough little girl. I hope everything continues to progress well.

I'm sending positive vibes your way! I know how you and your family feel - my oldest had Craniosynostosis, and had major surgery at 3 months old.

And hopefully the roller coaster ride has ended and Piper can get on with living her life to the fullest. I have been so consumed with Piper's plight,I have forgotten to do some things. Now that she FINALLY made it home tonight,I can get back on track and officially Thank the people who have been here for my family. The last 5 weeks were very intense and I feel I coped with the stress pretty well..This makes it all worth it in the end!!!!

Amazing what a smile on a young child's face will do to you. So glad she is doing better. Hope all goes well for her and her family.
