Pinion seal. Which one to get?

    72 8.5" skylark rear diff. Red car pinion seal is leaking, and after my move I can't find my notes on the seal that works. I think, at the parts store, I have to ask for a 73 seal, because the one in the computer for 72 isn't right.

    Anybody help here. Is it the Timken 2043 that is correct?

    I wish I had a lift

    USE it, you guru Larry. :) Jim

    All the bearings and seal number are listed on the site. MOST are dead on. I do have a few I need to repair. BUT the nephew that runs the site is tough to get things done with on TIME. :( I will always double check any number for you. Thanks, Jim
