The only area of concern is between tranni bell housing and header. The rest is no issue

Some have routed the line through frame.

Around the area near the header tube put a 2"x4" metal plate attached to the header with a small space between the header tube/cooling lines.
This will deflect some of the heat generated by the header tube & protect the cooling line.
    Just a thought.

You could have easily routed it through the frame.

How close are lines to the headers when running through the frame?
    Anyone have pics?
Is 3/4 of an inch adequate clearance? I’ve created a lot of extra work for zero gains so far. Goal was a neat tidy install.
    Thanks

The pic looks worse than it really is. I’m going to look at a few mods, see if I can create 1 inch of gap.
I would think 1 inch clearance would be adequate

The more distance the better (obviously)
To be honest, my cooler lines are a lot closer to my one header tube than yours on my 350, BUT, I’m still running the factory steel lines, so there’s no risk of burning through.

Could use use heat sleeves if you think there to close.

The only place they are even remotely close to the headers is where they cross over the collector of my MT headers.

John, thanks for pics. I’ll try running under starter as you have. To keep this a family friendly site I’ll call them transmission cooler lines.
