Hi Guys, I finally got around to taking a few pic's of my '86 Regal as it sits out behind my house. Several friends are currently helping me do my shop so I can get my Bend Pak two-post lift up and then get to my Regal. We did get my Whirlpool A/C & Heating unit in today. Still need to get the attic floor in, insulate the interior walls and ceiling, then drywall and paint. The floor will get a nice coat of light gray U-Coat-It...then the lift can go up. Anyway....sorry got off of track there....here are a few pic's of my Regal...:TU:
Looking good Kerry! :TU: :beer Nice meat in the rear! :Brow: Please get some more pictures when you get the lift up. Im dying to come over and try it out when its ready. :eek2:
Hi Guys, Rob....Thanks! Where are you located in IL? I will certainly get some pic's posted of my lift once it's up and operational.:TU: Jamie....Thanks from you also! Those are Hoosier Pro Street Radials 29" X 12.50" X 15". I also have another pair of the (of the very hard to find) American Racing Vector 8.5" X 15" aluminum rims to mount Mickey Thompson ET Radials on.:TU:
Kerry, Im in northeastern IL. Elmhurst IL, about 30 miles west of Chicago. Is the lift going inside the garage in the picture?
Very nice, I always liked the look of black and half top look. Vista461- West Allis huh? Your very close to me, Im right on 124th and National.
Nice Regal, Kerry :beer Next time you take photos, place the car in the sun :Smarty: I've adjusted the brightness of the photos a little bit:
Hi Guys, Rob....I'm in Decatur...halfway between Springfield & Champaign on I-72 (east/west) and US Route 51 south of Bloomington. Erik....Thanks! I took those pic's after the set had gone down behind the neighbor's trees. I need to learn how to lighten up some of my pics.:TU:
Hi Kerry, You have one nice -looking Regal.I am also a fan of the AR Vector wheels. They look particularly good on a classy dark colored G body.Of course they have some similarity to the T-Type wheels. I had a set of the Vectors on my old mid-engined 400+ horse Corvair. This was about the only non-Buick vehicle I regret having sold. They looked great on that car as well. I notice you are not using the center caps that came with the Vectors. They were black plastic as I recall and protruded a fair amount. Keep up the great(as usual) work. Rod
Hey Kerry, The Regal looks good. Hows your health been? The Regal should really scoot with the build you have coming. Did you keep the Jerrico? Is it going in the Regal?
Hi Guys, Mark....Thanks! Rob....Thanks to you also! As for the center caps....I had special adapters made that allow the use of the original T-Type center caps to be used on the Vectors so I have a complete set all around!:TU: I've yet to mount them though. Here's a pic of the caps and the two adapters...
Hi Dan....Thanks! Health's been fairly stable.:TU: I just got out of the hospital about two weeks ago after being in there for 3 1/2 weeks with pneumonia and such. Came home to do two more weeks of IV's after that. Being feeling well since then and am able to do a little here and there. I have to go back down to St. Louis in two weeks for an update check-up for my transplant listing as the results of that can move me up, down and remain the same in my placement as it is now. I have to do that every 6 months. I sold the Jerico back in June I beleive it was. A custom hybrid Ford AOD will be residing behind the 469ci Stage2 SE. Here's a pic of adding EGT bungs and cutting off TA's collectors and adding Kook's "spiked" merge collectors....
I dunno man, looks like it might be too much HP for the weight of the car. Maybe you should test run that engine in a 79 G-body station wagon for a year or four just to be on the safe side... :TU:
