Pic of hood latch lever

    So my project car has a badly bent latch arm. The 18" or so vertical sheet metal that everything bolts to. My release lever is inside the bumper and pressed against the backside of the license plate area. This forced me to take out the screws holding the lever to pull the rod, releasing the hood latch. Do any of you have pictures of where the release lever resides and how much bumper clearance there is? Even if from bottom looking up. My grill is out so it's easy to access it. Also any restoration sites selling replacements? I saw a Chevelle one but it's different.

    That's perfect, thank you! Mine is very "tweeked" so an impact at some point. I gave the bumper some adjustment with a 3 pounder a some pvc tube and helped with some clearance. Need to take the whole assembly out to do some straightening though. Below is how it was.
