Newbie again -- should have mentioned this -- looking for the white sunvisors with the cloth inserts. Also, while I'm at it, what kind of radio does it have and does it have any working T-3 low beam headlights?

    Mark,
I will get your parts request together this afternoon. The shifter plate is pretty nice as well.

    Steve,
The original headliner on these cars is unusual and I don't think I've ever seen one that is perfect. It consists of Foam glued to cardboard mounted between chrome bows, I'll take a picture of mine this afternoon. I do have a good set of the chrome headliner bows. The visors I have are no good. I do have some T3's, do you want the two prong or three prong ones? Radio is MIA.

    Thanks for the interest,
    Taylor

    Taylor,

Include the plate, and If the other gentleman is not interested, I will take the chrome bows as well, I have one that is not that great and should be replaced.

I'll be at the bank getting a loan for the parts :ball: :beer

    Taylor,

Thanks for the info. I have the cardboard forms (the sail panel pieces need to be replaced but the overhead pieces are okay) but no foam or material glued to them. Have been unable to find a 63 Wildcat with original headliner to compare to. Id love to have the complete sail panel forms, with material attached. My chrome bows are okay so Mark is welcome to them if he likes. As for the T3s, I need one 3-prong, or two if you have them. Thanks

    Taylor,
Have you sent out the radio antenna?

Where are we on some of the other parts?

    Taylor,

I've decided that I definitely want the 2 sail panels (with foam and material still attached). If no one wants any of the other horizontal panels from the headliner, I'd like to have a swatch of just the material (10" x 10" or so) that I could keep with me to match. I'm still interested in at least one 3-prong T-3. Please feel free to contact me at my e-mail address as well. Thanks
    :)

    Are you still alive?

Here's a picture of the headliner material. While the cardboard is good on the sail panels it has some foam loss. The nature of the material used cannot possibly survive shipping, whenever something comes into contact with the foam it takes a piece with it.

    Taylor,

Thanks for posting the 2 pictures of your headliner. It looks to me like the material matches the crumbling inserts on my sun visors. I thought that might be the case. Its okay with me if there is foam or fabric loss on the sail panels during shipping. It will still tell me a bunch about what kind of foam was used and how the materials were attached. And Id still like a good sized swatch of the material from one of the other panels. I can use it to help find a matching replacement (hopefully something a lot less delicate).

Can you also post a picture of your sun visors? The ones in my car are a silver grained vinyl with silver fabric inserts. Is that the correct color for a '63 Wildcat with the black interior?

    Thanks a bunch.
    :) :) :)

The sunvisors do indeed use the same material. All '63 Wildcat 2 doors had the same color headliner regardless of the interior color. After taking the pictures I left the headliner pieces out overnight and they got rained on :Dou:

    Taylor,

Thanks for the info about 63 Wildcat coupe interiors. The 1963 brochures make it appear that the Wildcat headliners and sunvisors were off-white (of course we know not to completely trust the brochures). Since the headliner pieces were rained on, are they warped or ruined particularly the sail panel pieces? If the panels are still okay, Id still like to have them, along with a swatch of material from one of the other panels. Please let me know. Thanks

Now would be a good time to get body patch panels. This car is very solid with almost no rust, trunk, floorpans, rockers, frame, etc.
