Parting a 69' Skylark Convertible

I am picking up a 69 Skylark conv. today. It is a 350 2bbl automatic, bench seat, low optioned car. I will be parting the whole car. I will be keeping a few parts for my car. I will get a better look at whats there tomorrow and get some pictures posted.

i would be interested in the 2 piece stainless trim around the back of the conv. top opening.

If it has a power bench , I'm interested in the track covers only.

You are 1st in line. I'll get back to you as soon as I have a chance to check out the trim you need. All the chrome and stainless that are on the car have been taped over with blue painters tape, so condition is unknown at this point.

 

Not power. sorry Does have nice head rests though.

I would take it complete with no fabric etc. if you are willing to take it off and ship it. Let me know the condition - pictures would be good. Then we would need to figure out how to ship it. The other option would be to take it apart. What I really want are the sides - folding mechanism and all - no cross bars or header. Let me know.

 

I am searching the small trims at the rear end of the quarter panels at the side of the lower trim of the lid? Trunk side trims?

I saw these in with all the trim. I'll get some pics and description of condition.

hazy chrome. nice cores for rechrome.

 

What's the condition of the grill ?

 

interested in the frame , mostly after the rear wheels.

 

The frame is solid on this car and appears to be in nice condition . When I get the body off we'll see how all the mounting holes are, if they are good the frame will be sold complete not in parts. If it's good, do you want the whole frame intact ?

 

There are some broken slats with 2 missing short sections. 1 ear is cracked. It's all saveable but would take some work. The tri-sheild in the center is broke. the chrome surrond has the typical haze, useable as a driver,would need rechrome for a show car. I'll be happy to take more pics if needed.

 

I am driving to Jacksonville, Florida Tuesday morning for work, I will be back home Friday night. I can bring large parts with me if anybody wants some large items and can meet me on the highway to pick up a purchase. We will most likely take I-77 south to I-95 south.


Al and Duke, I have not forgot about you, moving as fast as I can.

The trim has had snaps screwed into the trim :rant: unless you have a parade boot with snaps they are junk. o No:
