I am getting ready to make a move on getting my 69 GS painted and I was wondering, in order to save a few $, how much could be saved if I stripped the car down before I gave it to the body/paint guy. I mean removing all the trim, glass, paint etc. Is it worth it to go to all that effort. Also, assuming I practiced on scrap metal first...could a beginner replace lower 1/4's and rocker panels? It would be a shame not to use my Miller welder. Thanks, Dan
