I'm having a tough time getting my P/S set up on my BB, '76 if it matters. I have what I think is my old 350 pump but it sits too high to run the belt, back groove on the crank pulley, right? If not there it won't line up with any thing else. So I picked a BB pump off of Reynold but it sits too low, right on top of the steering box, no room to hook the hoses up. What the heck am I missing or doing wrong? This little stuff is killing me and time is wasting away. Maybe I should just go golfing.

Anyone? Are later year P/S brackets unique?

The only thing that I can think of is the engine sits lower in A body chassis. You may need GS/Skylark brackets. I looke in my attic but the only thing I have left is a front bracket. I don't have a clue what happened to the other bracket. There's a guy I know not far (20miles)from me that has 3 or 4 GS's left in his yard. I can go check to see what he has but I can't get there before the weekend at the earliest. I'm pretty sure that the 3 cars with motors in them are 350 cars. The 455 car has nothing in it.

Hey Reynold,The pump I got off you would be great if it sat a little higher. The pump I already had sits high to the point of the belt cutting into bottom side of the water pump. I checked my 70 chassis manual and the belt routing looks to be right. Maybe i can somehow combine the 2 come up with some thing that works. Anyone have a blueBB in their 70-72? :Do No:
