    Hey guys,

I have been looking all day and I can't find anything on what rear end is in the 59 ford f350 dually. I know V8 Buick members have a wealth of information so I figured I'd give a shot in the dark. All I can say about the rear is that it has no inspection cover and it is massive. It definitely has a short gear ratio as well since the truck tops out at around 60mph.

I appreciate any leads, glad I am a GM enthusiast as at least we can find information on our vehicles!

Looks very similar to this Dana 110 axle

i know dodge used spicer and eaton rear ends. i would guess eaton as they were a major player back then.

I didn't think of eaton! I know the 1/2 tons used ford 9" rears and this looks similar to a 9" but it is massive and I don't think the 9" housing could fit a 5 series carrier

Timken and dana were other manufacturers I tried checking out

The Dana 110 (and up) had square axle tubes and that style center section.

Last one I saw was under an older International. It had disc brakes and a wide 6 bolt pattern.
