Hi Zach, I don't know the answer, but I saw that there is one on eBay right now for $42. They also are charging $8 for shipping, so it looks like they are hoping to get $50 from someone. That seems a bit steep to me. I don't know if there's a way to search previous auctions to see what they actually sold for. Here is the link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2667060977...1cn55KORsy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
I have seen several at Carlisle in the buildings where they sell the brochures and they seem to be in the $25-$30 dollar range.
That seems about right. I was going to say $20. They're very nice but not at all rare. I think I have a couple of 'em.
There was a man here in Dallas that had a box full of brand new brochures. He was selling them for $20 each. He may still have some.
I wouldn't mind buying one even though I have no GSX nor a 70 GS Though this brochure just shows the styling or ad team really didn't collaborate with the engineering team.. They mention the Stage1 has 10.5 to compression "which alot of articles did" but they state the Stage1 valves as the same 2.005 and 1.625. A big seller on the Stage1 is the mention of bigger valves.. Being that the GSX is a drawing on this brochure i'm guessing the GSX car wasn't put together yet??
LSMS , if you remember who it is, I have one for #250 but need another for # 411. So also 71 gsx if you want to get rid of it throw me a price. I paid $35.00 at the Portland swap meet for the one I have ten years ago. I’m going in April looking for another but this would save some time.
I have his contact information. I will check to see if he has any left. I think they are likely reproductions, but I could not tell them from original brochures. The seller didn't know.
if you wouldn't mind, ask him if he has some of the 71 GSX. It is a smaller brochure that is a GSX exclusive. It has no other GS models in it. I would be in the market for one or more of those
I had one years ago and sold it to someone named Keith Cronkhite in Michigan. Carl Rychlik says he has one but hasn't shown it to anyone yet L O L
Keith had a dark green 69 Stage 1. Beautiful original car. Used to come to the GS Nationals in the 80's. I'll take an 71GSX brochure also. If available m Zach
That’s the only place I’ve seen it Mark, the picture in the general 71 catalog. but keep hearing there’s an actual brochure just for the 71 GSX. I’ve got the 70 and even couple for the Apollo GSX, but have never seen 71. My dad looked at every literature dealer for years with no luck.
