Found original engine and automatic tranny removed from 67 gs in running condition. Might buy but what's it worth?
If you had a 67 GS400 that needed an engine and it has the right dates, it's worth a mint. If not the engine is not too exciting from a performance stand point. The trans would be great for any project that needed a 400. I'd say $300 to $500 unless it was to make a complete car then who knows. Jim N.
For what it is worth, I bought an engine/trans combo out of a non-running 67 GS for $300 last year. They are both cores that will need to be rebuilt. Hope this helps!
