    Buick Professionals,
I have and optikleen bottle, the coolant overflow bottle and brackets for my '63 Rivi and was wondering what was the correct way to hook them up.
    Thanks,
    Doug

    TXGWildcat,
Hi, and, yes I have the cap and bracket. I guess it is a storage bottle for extra windshield washer fluid. Also, how does the radiator overflow work with the coolant bottle. This is my first buick like this and it has been real fun to work on.

I was in Chandler in 1977 through 1981 at Williams AFB AZ I was told that the cotton fields are almost all gone now.
Thanks for the replay and any info is greatly appreciated
    Doug:)

    Hi Doug,
Well, I have a 64 Riviera and they never came with an overflow bottle. That was something Buick did in the 70's. So, your Opticleen bottle should go on the right side fender there are dimples there for it and it is only for extra windshield washer fluid. If you have the bottle and the paper cover is bad you can get it reproduced by Jim Osborn he is on the web. The overflow is your choice, personally I have never had to use one but if you need one you should be looking at going over the cooling system, radiator etc to make sure it is in good working condition. Hope this helps.

    Best Regards,
    Ed Gunyo.

    Bottle location

    Ed.
Well, that information was a big help! I found the indentions and the bracket fit fine. I also found the coolant bottle location on the left front fender well.
    Thanks for the great help!!
    Doug
