Opinions on T/A 290-94H

    So, I've got a new job and have money burning a hole in my pocket. I wish I could be disciplined and save more, but summer's coming, and I haven't been to the track with a car of my own for more than 5 years. So, now that I have the LeSabre I want to make track visits rather often this summer!

    Naturally -- now that I have a little disposable income -- I've been perusing the T/A page, and they have several 290-94H cams on 'sale' ground on a 112 LSA, as opposed to the regular 110 LSA. Floydsbuick ran a 290 in his 4 spd Regal, and I've asked him for his opinion, and I like what I hear. I was originally thinking of going with the 212 which is also ground on a 112 LSA, but is there any reason I shouldn't go for one of these 290s?

    Basically, the car is used for highway trips once or twice a week for business (no city driving), and for going to the track later this summer, which is mostly highway driving to get there also. My combo is in my signature, but to add to that I actually just bought a set of used headers yesterday from a local guy. They are not, however, installed just yet.
