I think you have a good plan, it should run nice! Wasn’t it you that had a super high mileage 74 Buick 350? About 400,000 miles if I remember correctly? I could be mixed up but for some reason I thought it was you.

    Spend that stimulus cash $$$.:D

    I like that solid cam.
It's only 3 numbers larger than my roller @ .050, but 15 numbers smaller on the advertised #.
    Should be a "runner".:)

Boss is ok :cool:with it I had run up credit card a lot past few years but catching up now. Can't wait to spend other peoples money maybe they will give me more after all I deserve it I worked my butt off being a printing pressman

Well now I wonder how hard it is going to be to get the cam and especially the lifters
So now that I am talking about this should I get the lifters with hole in bottom to oil cam?
Seems to make sense to me to get that style of lifter My oil pressure is good 50@3 grand 70@6

27th year this year on the motor since major rebuild, seems to have proved its' longevity and I did not drive it like a turtle.

Hitting 6200 on the rev limiter out of low gear on 125 shot of nitrous and not lifting and shifting into second should have ended the motor when I raced that Mustang in 2006.

    but it didn't...

keep that in mind fellow gearheads :D
I forgot Of course he lost

Anyone going to be in Bowling Green testing any new 350 builds? Or, letting their 27yr old builds stretch out?

Yes large valve reliefs for the oversized valves. I have all the parts ready it just needs final assembly and then it can be fired up. Should be this spring.
