Ordered a stainless dual exhaust for my 64 Wildcat in August and received promptly. Unfortunately the muffler was poorly packaged and when opened had a dent. Contacted immediately and offered to send if back. He told me that they pack everything to prevent dents and he would check into this. I explained a simple cardboard box probably is not adequate for an expensive muffler. I told him I wanted to exchange the muffler and he send he would send a new one first ASAP. Well 10 weeks later, nothing. Dan
I'd call'em back. Could be an over sight. I want to order from them in the future, so I'll keep an eye on this. How did everthing else look and fit?
What I don't understand is why any business would not try to make a customer "whole" with a simple problem is beyond me. The one posting here will be seen by thousands of people. And, they probably will arrive at the same conclusion I did: this company does not stand behind it's products, and should be avoided.
The seller is responsible. He hired the transportation company and they failed. His claim is with the transportation company. I would contact the seller and ask for reasons for your new part. If things are delayed again, there is a reason which may not be good. They should not be in business if they can not handle the loss of the part. Been there lossed that. My 2 cents
Update Had a recent conversation with them. They have promised to make good. The owner actually spotted this post and prompted the call. Thank you to this forum for being so powerful and influential. There is no doubt in my mind regarding the impact of great folks looking after each other and the hobby. I will keep everyone updated.ray: Dan
