I know a lot of guys cross collect myself included. Here is a black horn button from an Oldsmobile. I got a good set of pictures there is a scratch about an inch I would guess but it is very light. $25.00 delivered to the GS Nats. Willing to ship for actual costs.
If anyone needs to know,you can swap the Olds emblem for a Buick emblem. I place the button in a pot of water and heat it on the stove to near-boiling,to soften it up,then gently press one out and press the other one in. I own both cars/wheels,so I’ve swapped quite a few. Make sure you use the nicest pot you can find. Your wife will love you for it.
Lets find out who got each part, both respond with same time, yet one shows first. Both members are well established. I would say one to one and then the other grts one.
Mike & Fred - Have you both seen what happened here & on the auction for the Oldsmobile cap? From my couch here's what I'm thinking: Mike responded on the hub and black horn button first according the the posting order and Fred to the Oldsmobile one. Are we all OK with this as a sales arrangement? I'm sure not looking to create friction - just stop tripping over things at the house. Thanks, Steve
