Guys...I am assisting a neighbor clean out his over-abundance of old musclecar stuff...these (Lakewood?) traction bars were used on his 67 TGO he used to race at the local track.. If you are building a 'retro 60s-70s era correct musclecar' and are interested...these are available the way you see them for $85, OR I will sandblast em, and apply a nice coat of black Industrial Imron for another $85. Local pickup would be nice but I will offer UPS ground shipping. Wheelz, Tampa Bay
It could be no one is biting cuz your missing the front brackets, they are flat iron and bent up, the prob is the front brackets are weld on instead of bolt on...they are cool though...!
You're prolly right Mark, however, if someone really wanted these they could find a way to make them work, doncha think? :Brow: .and BTW...I got some Poncho heads...with the screw-in rocker studs I'll need help identifying. I'll sendya some pix tomorrow. THANX! Wheelz, Tampa Bay
oh yeah......those brackets always broke on my BUICK's at the welds on the torque plant side:beer That says something about the 455:bla:
Dennis, got any idea how many layers of paint on those bad boys? They are yellow from Lakewood, right?
Get the part number under the valve cover, and there is a casting number on the center exhaust ports, its the one that is generally used to ID them....factory screw in studs and guide plates most always mean performance...
Mark...ie: Marxjunk, I'll email you Poncho head details.... and MarkO, I count 4 coats of sloppy household oil based enamel slopped on with a barBque slop rag type of applicator. BTW, these are SOLD! A local dood wantsum real bad for his Retro 65 Grand Prix? uzzled: o No: yea i know... I WOULDNT however..he's bringin a handful of cash tomorrow! :TU: and cash talks LOUDLY in my household these days! Wheelz, Tampa Bay
