this yard is about 2 miles south east of the Cenex off of, I think, county M, south of the RR tracks.

the one you are refering to I think I was there 2 summers ago, I gues they crushed out. had alot of early 60's GM cars, there was also a nice 2dr late 40's Buick in there

I have been told there are or was like 4 private, and large family yards around Adams- but the locals won't tell you the locals

The one I'm thinking of is way back in the sticks. Had a few GTO's and Chevelle's. The guy I spoke to said it was owned by his family. He was working for Ameritech in the Madison area. Gave us directions (which we lost) and said to go poke around. Said they closed to the public, but would still sell off some parts. All I can remember is that it was off of 11th ave, between WI Rapids and Rome WI. Back in the paper company lands.

If I remember right, it was off of CTH D, Town of Rome. Thinking it was on the WI Rapids side of D. I know it was the corner of 2 dirt roads, one was 11th (Rd / ST /LN???) and the other was ??? It sounded like it was not too picked over, but hey, that was 20+ years when I found it.

There is another yard near Tomah. CL Chase owns that one too. Lots of military stuff, couldn't go into the yard as no one was around. Saw a couple old Firebirds, and other GM's. I believe the town is Wyeville.

cl chase's brother has a yard east of tomah on 21 about 2 miles north of where the Americold/Oceanspray cranberry factory is. I went there he was even more orny than CL if you can believe that.

there is also Shaw's on state 173 north of 21, but its 99% late model.

and there is another Shaw's, different owners, south of Marshfield 1/2 mile east of state 13. it too is 99% late model
