Stupid question, but my heads are at the machinist - If anybody has a set of heads on the bench, can you tell me what size the oil drain back holes are on the ends? I have to re-punch my TA "orange crush" head gaskets and I need to know what size punch to get. Thanks..RT

IIRC there is a offset in the head hole and the gasket hole....... I would wait till you get your heads and gaskets on the same bench....

Thanks for the heads up. There's def a offset from the head to the gasket. I still have the block and gaskets here so if they align I'll have to figure out whats next.

Again IIRC the gasket & block have don't jive a strait through dump ....... .... Wait till you have your heads in hands...

Mocked everything up and it's the edge of the two "wings" of the head gasket that blocks the drainback hole above the lifter galley. Easy fix, done with tinsnips. Was pretty significantly blocked though, more than a third withthe TA Orange Crush gaskets..
