Acording to the part # catalog, it looks like the dipstick itself is correct. I can't see a number on the tube and believe that is probably correct. It looks like 71-at least 72 used a rod adapter that I don't have if you are running power brakes/ The rod adapter changes the height and angle where the dipstick comes out.
