This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things.   3. The "Group Buy" for the 1967-68 Deluxe Steering wheel recasting is now officially "Open". Now is the time to start sending in the wheels. The latest date that the wheels must be received by Kochs is 31 March 2025 The cost for each wheel is $750. The only "up front cost" is your shipping the wheel. If you send in more than one wheel, each additional wheel will cost $700. Shipping and insurance to Kochs and return shipping will be extra. You will be contacted by Teresa to make payment for the wheel(s) and return shipping and insurance when your wheel(s) is complete. The shipping will be factored on your delivery address and insurance. I will be sending the contact information all of you have sent me to Teresa at Kochs.     The Skylark dirt track model was re-released a long time ago- maybe 15 years ago?
    Rumor has it the original molds of the stock version were modified (ruined) for the dirt car, so the stock version could no longer be manufactured.
    Sure would be nice if they brought back the stock one. Wonder if if the mold making process has been simplified since 1966?

    yes,ive been out if it 4 along time the last i remember they rmakin all of them with a number added on to the original number,they must have sold em all out,funny how time passes and u dont realize it!

    I've heard the same. I got a deal on the dirt track kit, so I snapped it up. Hopefully I can modify it back to the stock version.

    I too have the "Modified Stocker," and agree with Walt's assessment the they "ruined" the original molds... "Fixing it" remains to me more trouble than it's worth...(Sorry, Walt!!! :) )
