My first introduction to BB Buick Muscle was back in 92. I was in Seattle looking around as Mucle car lots. I was really in to Pontiacs and looking for early model TA or Superduty.

I was on this lot in North Seattle that had alot of muscle cars (should of bought them all if I knew what I knew now, they were cheap then).

I walk by this old tan car (dont even know what it is) and I say: man that is a nice old clean car, but looks like Grannys car (68 GS). The salesman laughs and say, Dude that is the fastest car on the lot. I say yeah right Bro. Next to it is sitting a 440 six pack Cuda.

He says, Ill get the keys. So I pop the hood and see a normal aircleaner, no headers and 400 bades on a totaly stock motor.

He comes back with the keys and says lets go for a ride, my buddy and I jump in with the salesman and I fire it up. I look down and notice it is a 4 speed. Humm that is odd that Granny would drive a 4 gear.

We pull out on the the street out front and go a mile or so and hit a stop light. When it turns green the salesman says: nait it! I stomped on it and could not believe what happend, I grabbed second and my buddies sitting in the back hit his head on the ceiling, bam 3rd gear and ole granny is still pulling hard. Could not friken believe it!

I could not sleep nights thinking about this car. My Dad came to see me in Seattle a couple days later (a old gear head from the 60's) I said we got to go test drive this car. We went and drove it again and He was impressed like me. We decided to go 1/2 and 1/2 and bought the car for 4500 bucks. Now this is probably a 17k car now. very nice clean driver, to this day my Mom drives this car, and so do I any time I can get a chance.

I tracked down the guy that used to own this car shortly after I bought it. Come to find out the car has a cammed up stage 1 455 in it, and tuns high 13's with 273 gears. Not bad for a old granny car. I dont think we will ever sell this car as it is our favorite. The 4 speed makes it! Manual steering and all with a mint wood steering wheel. It feels and drives like a true muscle car should.

This car hooked me on Buicks for life, I always liked being a little different.

My Dad eventually bought me out of my 1/2 of the car and about every week now I try to buy it back. But thats ok, Mom loves that old car.
