I know it's not suited for this forum, but I thought that with all the great Buick people on this site, somebody might know a Chevy person who would like this? It's a 1966 Chevelle Super Sport 396 car that was built in early 70's for Drag Racing. As you can see, it is very period correct for the 70's, it has a 402 BB, turbo 400 trans, 12bolt rear with 4.88's, basically it's what it took to make a rat motor chevy run back in those days! I don't know if the engine is the original 396 bored .030 over or not. The paint job is pure 70's with the panels,scallops and old racing decals. I bought this car about a year ago in Neb. and now need to make space for a new arrival. It will turn over but I never did try to start it. It's very possible, I haven't sold parts out there for a few years, so my main goal is to sell/unload/get rid of parts while I'm there. But, I would like also to sell one of my cars if possible.My trailer is a 26ft. enclosed, so if I bring a car with all the parts it will be packed FULL!! Still, it would be fun to bring Little Joe along, I hear their might be some older race cars showing up this year along with Jim Bell and people from Reynolds Buick? Have you heard anything about it? I'm not sure but that would be great to see some of the older race cars! My Dad, brother and I will be there this year, what should I look for when we get there to look you up? Did you get the pm I sent you awhile back? Just wondering I never heard anything back.
