George To save costs (and if it were not for Frank we would have nothing much ) they copied the black top fonts which are not correct on the earlier top. No one would care except for perhaps a concours' resto.
I believe Duane OK'd Frank's clear tops for the councours judging. Just an option to 'get you by' :beer

Marco is correct, I did OK both the color, and design, for both the black top and clear top jugs that Frank is making, for the Concours Classes. The differences between the originals were so marginal it was an easy decision. If someone wants to spend the money for an original, that's ok also, but the repro's are a beautiful part and are fine with me. Duane
