NOS head gaskets, etc.

Recently a friend and I bought out a small warehouse full of parts and a few engines, including a 41-42 Buick straight 8, from an old collector who was 84 years old and had to sell it and to go into assisted living. Much of it is NOS parts from all brands (GM, Ford and Mopar), stuff he bought from dealerships and parts stores that no longer wanted it, which is completely understandable since there are some various NOS Vega parts. It's going to take us a long time to get through it all but yesterday I found a GM box that includes an intake gasket (tin valley pan style), head gaskets and valve cover gaskets) with GM part number 1242572. Our plan it to sell most of this stuff over time but we would like to know exactly what we have before offering it so as not to mislead anyopne. I couldn't find any specifics on this gasket set, like what years it may fit but I do know it's for a Buick 350. Can anyone tell me what it is exactly? And if I'm allowed to ask this, what would be a fair price to ask for it? And would anyone even consider using NOS head gaskets when technology has come so far since then with better options? Thanks.

    alec296 i need another buick

Looks like steel shim head gasket. 68-70 hi compression. They seal lousy unless block and heads have been milled. Thinner gasket so it does increase compression. Nothing special. Go to ebay for pricing. If it’s not selling there , overpriced.

Actually, the intake/valley cover gasket is steel shim but the head gaskets are not, they are composite and the valve cover gaskets are cork. I was mainly wondering what years they fit. Or will they work on any year 350?
