Tough times call for tough measures. I planned on using this setup for a 70 Stage 1, I am in the middle of restoring but dunno IF I will 'get'er dun'! (some of you have seen the restored chassis: Ryan, JC, Mike, Jim) Anyway...here is everything you will need for your 70 Grille setup: NOS GM GS Grille still wrapped in original plastic...(since deteriorated when unwrapped :rant: ) Original GM box, not it best shape but nevertheless, original. This grill has never been out of its wrapper till now. Studs intact with original nuts. A few slight storage fade/blemishes on the lower grille that, once installed wont really be visable. EXCELLENT NOS GRILLE..not a repro. NEXT: you'll also get the GS ONLY hood trim, street chrome, wearing thin in spots, one busted stud on each side, slight pitting but for the most part, its straight, decent, a great candidate for a driver and could easily be restored for show. NEXT is the difficult to locate "THREE PIECE stainless trim"...all three pieces are very nice, no dings, a few abrasions but nothing a good Happich Semi Chrome polish wouldn't fix. The welded area at the POINT of the lower trim, so often busted is solid and the "J" pieces are actually very good. NEXT is the lower "stamped steel" filler plate, painted to match the body color..these are NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE to find in this RUST-FREE, dent free, straight overall SWEET condition.... a light bead blast and primer and VOILA!
