I wasnt slighted I just read into your post that unless these specific guys check out the part then it wouldnt be good enough to use. That isnt the case with TRUE Buick vendors. Those johnney come lately vendors that want to make a buck and slam out a product without even looking at whether its usable vs correct will be what I am directing my frustration at. I have the same issue towards my own parts. I make a part as good as it can be but as soon as I get the second run of them together I try to improve it. Its disheartning to see the crap out there available to fix cars with. Too bad the Buick dollar is so short compared to the chevy dollar.

I'll second that one! I have kept my cars looking as nice as I can, but I can't compete with the moneybags on ebay for the really nice stuff. It looks good, but would never be invited to the concours row, haha. Now, if you pretty boys wanna run 'em, for a few of your spare NOS parts, YOU'RE ON!

Don't forget me. It is very time consuming and expensive to develope a part from scratch. Some of us have taken on this challange to help the hobby. Believe me, we are NOT in it for the money.
I currently own 3 Buicks and have had several others. People like Duane, Mike and myself own these cars and know them very well.
I've been making the N-25 hangers for years and have NEVER heard any complaints. Nothing but positive feedback from the people who are using them.
It is incredible how many people say they will buy something then when its available they don't. But because I Love my Buicks, I will continue to make new parts when I can devote the time and cash.

What are you all crying about?? Try finding ANYTHING for a 73-75 GS car... That's why my car (73) is in as sad of shape it is..I finally dug it out and don't care if its nice as others..I say screw them and I will be cruising in it with all the rust and incorrect parts, but guess what?? I am going to enjoy it anyways...even if I never win a best of show or the tog dog races..Wish I had someone make my cars parts Mike does a great job on his parts and I have not bought parts from some of the other guys, but wouldn't be afraid to..

Agreed. The more people that see nicely done Skylarks/GS's, the more interest there will be and the more demand there will be which can only help our cause.

I have bought parts from all the smaller vendors listed here (thanks guys!) and the large ones and I am thankful for every part I can actually get. Not all are perfect, but at least you can buy something...

As for the guys that nit pick things all the time, thats fine put your car where your mouth is...And yeah why is it when a car is on ebay it gets ripped to shreads on these forums? I'm tempted to put one of mine on there just to listen to everyone spout off... (free listings this week, the vert or the hardtop?) Same deal when somebody has a problem and people come on and post "I've never had a problem in 20 years of building this or doing that..."...ok so you're a superhero, awesome, now can we get some help please?

Its just human nature. :Do No:
