Whats the best way to go about this. I mailed the parts priorty mail and sent the amount due by email,Parts were rec'd 10-22. I was told that he was paying by bidpay .com, but that doesn't work ,I sold the parts on this page to a member. Last Saturday, I emailed him I want payment or my parts back!!! He emailed me that the Post Office M.O. I reQuested in the beginning was sent. Today is Friday and nothing. Ive been selling Buick parts since 1974 the First Carlisle and have NEVER had this problem. Its only $45 in NOS trans crossmember brkts and insolaters, but it the idea. If someone would Email me and say they want the parts or the money, I would OVERNIGHT the payment to them!! HOW LONG SHOULD I WAIT? He has things on EBAY for sale and if they don't pay, I wonder how he would feel, maybe give bad FEED BACK! Bill
Can't a Postal MO be tracked? I've been hearing a lot about the slow mail lately. Things may take weeks to get to their destination.o No: Hopefully it's as simple as this. If the matter is not cleared up, let any of the mods know. Theft/fraud is not tolerated on this board.
Bill, 1. He should have a receipt for a Postal MO. Request a fax copy or pic. 2. The USPS has not been up to snuff lately. I just today received a check I had sent to Mike Garrison marked "undeliverable". I checked, and the address was correct. And I mailed it on 10/10! That is over 1 month!! I also had a similar problem trying to buy a part from another member. The PO lost the letter. But at least I was reimbursed for the money order. Be patient but keep in contact with the member. Allow maybe another week before measures are taken. Just my .02 Good Luck.
To add insult to injury,If the Postal Money order is lost or stolen they make you wait 60 days till they give you another one.I am not saying that this is the problem but if they did send it ,they should have a receipt to fax you or at least the number on the top of the order to give you. Pat
UPDATE!!!!!!!!! Got the M.O. Sat the 8th that was posted marked Thru the 6th, so it took 2days to go 100 miles. My point is" IF YOU BUY A PART FROM SOMEONE ON THE BOARD OR ANYONE, BE FAIR ABOUT A TIMELY PAYMENT OR EMAIL THE SELLER OF YOUR PROBLEM!!!!!! BILL
