  2. In and effort to reduce the spam on the site, several years ago I had went to a program where I manually approve each and every new registration. This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy..   3. The "Group Buy" for the 1967-68 Deluxe Steering wheel recasting is now officially "Open". Now is the time to start sending in the wheels. The latest date that the wheels must be received by Kochs is 31 March 2025 The cost for each wheel is $750. The only "up front cost" is your shipping the wheel. If you send in more than one wheel, each additional wheel will cost $700. Shipping and insurance to Kochs and return shipping will be extra. You will be contacted by Teresa to make payment for the wheel(s) and return shipping and insurance when your wheel(s) is complete. Nice guy sorta got burned, needs bucket seats

    My best friend from high school was building 2 sport wagons into 1. I gave him a set of 69 GS power buckets, on permanent loan if you will.

    If it helped him finish the car, then I get to ride in the wagon. Well, he sold the cars and gave the guy the seats instead of giving them back to me. Essentially, they were a gift, so I can't bitch too much, but still........

    I am not looking for a handout! I will pay a fair price for two good seats. Black preferred, but any color will do. Don't need power. I just want to buy from someone fair.

    If you know a guy near Petaluma CA, who bought 2 Sport Wagons from Robert in San Francisco about a year ago, tell him I'll buy the seats back.

    I need a console too, my wife INSISTED it be installed in her "68 GS.

    I think its only right that he pay you for the seats, he should offer, you shouldnt have to ask. if he doesnt u have to wonder how good a friend he really is.

    Well, unfortunately I never made it clear that they were anything other than an outright gift. And I never made it clear because I just always assumed he would finish the Sport Wagon. He worked so long and hard on it, but then suddenly had no place to keep it because of earthquake retrofitting at his apartment. My friend is trying to locate the guy who bought the cars and get the seats back, but it is not going well.

    So...anybody got some bucket seats?
