I have owned a buick for the last 25 years. Currently have a 50 special and gn which are not v8's. the v8's are my 64 lark conv with the kp motor which looks original inside and out other than 15" rally wheels, dual exhaust, pioneer head unit and speaker pods that blend into the doors. The subs and amps are in the trunk. I did install a v6 rear end to get a better ratio with the taller tires that came with the 15" rallys. MY 70 GSX clone started life as a gs350. It came with a 2 piece block due to a rod failure. We took a 70 engine and drilled oil passages, polished rods, ported heads, cast intake and cast exhaust which we used the 67 rt side manifold for better flow. I over cammed it with a lunati that is made for engine with headers etc so I had to install a vaccum pump from a mid 80's cadillac for the power brakes. I used a 67 riv guts to make a switch pitch and have the 4000, 1800 stall convertor. I used a 67 chevelle 12 bolt (narrower) with the 331 gears with c clip eliminators and a drive shaft loop. I also put a line lock for more fun. With new bushings etc it is a better riding car than the gn. Will be pulling the old cam and trying a better grind when I find out which one I need. Also have 373 gears in box which may be installed. I love the 4000 stall convertor. The t/a radials have no chance. This is fast with class, power windows, locks, tilt, cruise, rear defroster, a/c, am/fm/8 track, power seat. 4150 pounds on the scale at bowling green
