I've been a auto trans guy for the last 20 years. i have decided to install a tremec TKO600 5 speed in my skylark. I have the transmission and just purchased the clutch, pressure plate and throwout berring but im not sure how to put it all together. does anyone have any detailed pictures or an instruction sheet on how to do this?

Also check the Nova sites (stevesnovasite.com) as many of those folks have also done the conversion.

is the car a auto or stick now? if it is a auto you will need a bell housing and
flywheel. if it is a stick the tranny will go in just like the muncie you are
replacing. you also have to dial in the bell housing for the tremmec, as they
do not like the slop muncies can handle.

ps if this is a auto vehicle, i would recommend you get the parts and have
a mechanic fab it in. you will most likely have to cut and move the crossmember under the tranny. jim
