I am not only new to this site but also new to the buick world all together. To make matter worse I have only lived in tennessee for a year and a half. I recently purchased a 54 buick super 4 dr. I was wondering if there were any events in the tennessee area. I am from Orange county CA where the classic car scene is huge however I have yet to find anything here can somebody direct to the right place??

Welcome to Buick and TN. I live in Lawrenceburg, not sure exactly where Livingston is at. The GSCA Buick Nationals is in Bowling Green KY which is only 2.5 hours from me. The knoxville area has some events which could be looked into also. I'll do a little research and post what I find. I'm pretty sure there is a 54 or 5 parts car in my neighborhood if you need any parts just yell at me and I'll see whats available.

The spring Rod Run is awesome in Pigeon Forge. Several thousands of classics ranging from rods, customs, original show cars and street/strip. Traffic is bad so if you have a car that tends to heat up, better come in the early AM. I have gone many years and will be there on Friday and Saturday (hopefully). Most arrive on April 14 and leave on the 17th.
Knoxville has a nice expo in the summer. I have gone a couple times, but don't know the exact date.
If your ever in east TN, come to the little town of Elizabethton on Sat nights. This small historical town closes main street to make room for up to several hundred classics. Starts around 6 PM and ends when the last car is gone. Music, car/food vendors make this a nice weekend cruise scene. It has really grown over the last 10 years, and this year should be the best one yet.
