http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/carsforsale/buick/gsx/515674.html almost 200K. Looks like a nice car. Mark
That is quite a price for the way the market is now. John's car was bid to $81k. I don't see how someone will get $200k in this market.
The market is trending down to a correction. The mega prices of the last few years are now history. Mopars have taken the biggest hit.
I am not sure that the selling price of one car on E-Bay should dictate the selling price of all cars. On E-Bay you have a limited time to sell and the right buyer has to be on E-Bay at the right time. Same is true for auctions. I do believe this car is overpriced because there are several Stage-1 4-speed cars that have had concourse restoration for less but I do not believe the bottom has dropped out of the market yet. It may be stablizing or down slightly but still there. 2 weeks ago three completely trashed GSX's bid up to almost 100K and less than a month ago at least 2 unrestored 4-speed cars were bid up to between 55K and 70K. I believe someone got a very good bargin on John's GSX and could most likely turn it for a profit by next March if they put it out on Hemmings or some of the other websites. Just my $.02 Mark
