Just registered. Thanks for the heads up.

My first 1/4 pass was at Norwalk back in maybe 1990? I was instantly hooked! (no pun intended) :pp
We went every weekend for several years. Then things started changing....
Instead of 6 or 7 time trials, you started getting 4 or 5, then 2 or 3 ...etc...
I went there about 2 years ago with some friends ..... I was there when the gates opened. (9 or 10AM?)
I got one time trial around 3PM, and then waited till about 10PM for my first round. Wasn't fun at all. I can sit around and BS with friends in the comfort of my own home for free.

With that said though.... NRP is definately the NICEST track I've ever been to, and you definately can't argue with what they've done with the place over the last 15 years. It's awesome! But lately (which hasn't been very often these last few years) we've been going to Dragway 42. Not near as nice, but you actually get to spend some time on the track. :Do No:

Do you know if they have anything in the plans for getting more cars though in a day? I'd love to race there more often, but as infrequent as I race, I actually want to RACE when I go. Not sit around in the pits for 6-7 hours between trips down the track. :(

I don't know what they could possibly do to speed things up besides put in another strip. But I'm sure that wouldn't work very good.

Rick, have you been there when we do Buick RaceDay, as things are much better, than a regular race day or night?
The BPG is renting the track on April 29th for test and tune and on April 30th we have a V8 Buick and V6 Buick Gamblers race planned with guaranteed pay back and a Ladies Charity Race for the American Cancer Society. Here's a link for the flyer and from there is a link to the pre-entry form.

Mel and I went to Tony's test-n-tune last year with the 2 cars we have for sale. It was a good time, but we were very new here, and didn't meet many members.
We'll definately try to make it to this one too, for at least one of the days, if not a couple. Thanks. :)

<s>I don't see a "Buick Day" in Norwalks 2004 schedule. When did they quit doing that? </s>
Edit .....Nevermind. I found it. Wow, thats a hard website to navigate. Took me forever to simply find the FULL event schedule.
But now I see that NRP's Buick day is the 2nd. And the BPG is putting on the test-n-tune the Friday before.
Now I get it. :TU:
