I had a similar experience at the Buick AACA forum. Some guy in Britain who supposedly had a warehouse full of Buick parts. Right. Gimme a break. Same deal, bad english, not British English just goofy grammar and sentence structure. These guys must just sit somewhere in front of a computer just looking for suckers.
Yeah, I should have googled the email address right away. It would have never gotten to the point of me sending him money anyway, just a waste of time.
Next time ask him where he is located, because you have a lot of friends in the UK. And tell him that the part is in fact for one of those friends, so he can pick it up in the UK and pay with cash :TU:

Heck, I get screwed bad enough from people in this country, that I don't need to deal with a foreigner.
Guys, please PM a moderator when you receive suspicious contacts like this situation. It's clearly a scammer, all the signs and characteristics are there. The sooner one of us knows about it the sooner that member can be removed from the board before they try to hit someone else.
