Was wondering what some had gotten for replacing the interior fabrics, appurtenances for a 70 skylark?

Went to a local shop that does this work and talked to the head guy, he told me 1250 to do rug, headliner, seats, and package tray.

Give the guy a deposit, then find out later on they fired the guy, even though he was well respected. Talk to the "new" guy and he tells me 1700 to 1800. Now I sat down with the old guy and he looked up all the prices etc in Legendary, seemed that he was fair.

What's the range some of you are getting on similar work?

That price seems high. Seat front and back from www.opgi.com is $350, headliner is $50-60, carpet $90. I would estimate $150-200 for labor for the seats, $100 for headliner and carpet you can do yourself.
