I'm in desperate need of a carb, specifically a 4 bbl Q-jet. Anyone happen to have one they are willing to let go for a fairly reasonable price?

Hello, and thanks for the quick response.

Honestly, I am not real sure about the numbers or anything. I believe they all flow between 700-800 cfm, correct? I need a "big" one, I guess...

Is is going on a Chevy 383 stroker, which will see nitrous and forced induction, so I intend on making some slight modifications to the carb anyway.

The engine is being stuffed into a Nissan 300Z.

I want to use a Buick Q-jet because of the location of the fuel line.

This is a budget build, a lot of salvaged parts, and a big ol' Holley just isn't in the budget... That, and I like the Q better anyway.

How much would a Q hit my wallet for?

I've got one I have been thinking of selling. I was going to rebuild it first. Private message me. or email me at jasonpbonham@gmail.com I am sure we can work out something that's fair. It's off of a 72 estate wagon 455 and I think that puts it at 700-800 cfm. I also have a rebuild kit for it.
