I need a head rest for 70 -- 72 Olds 442 . White or Pearl. No cracks ! I think Buicks are the same for this model year but not sure. John
Something missing here??????? You been cleaning house down there? 66 W-30 # 29 66 Track pack W-30 71 W-30 Conv full documented 66 Cutlass Conv Dad bought new in 66 White F85? o No:
Sorry need one for bucket seat car. Dave just rearranging the inventory . White car and UPS Olds now in Mass. Both sold to same buyer. Had to have the 71 Peruvian Silver W-30 back in the stable. Can't keep em all . Have other cars in the oven so to speak.
John: If you changed wives as often as you change these fabulous cars, you'd be flat assed broke! Good thing you're an attorney. Did you see the Peruvian Silver 68 HT that's on ebay right now? That is drop- dead gorgeous.
Dave if I didn't have a great wife--she would kill me and it wouldn't matter if I was broke. These cars are fun and I hope to own a lot more before the grim reaper comes. Someone on the Board said " You are going to be dead a long time so enjoy the cars." When I got the Silver W-30 back, I put the top down (Never down when I owned it before ) and drove it around town. It is still down and I am enjoying the car. These cars actually make money and it is how I justify this foolish passion to my family. The EBAY 68 is a 4 speed and is not overpriced. Would make you a great stablemate. John
Nice car, great wife Link to the 68 442 on ebay. I agree it's not overpriced, just have to like cars like this. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...&item=4509876862&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MEWA:IT I also have a great wife (we celebrate our 36th anniversary next Monday), and although she threatened murder a few times over the years, never followed through. Best thing that happened was when the stock market tanked a few years ago, but the value on these cars went the other way. She has new respect for this passion. Not for me, just the value of the cars.
Hey John, Never saw the 70 in person, but did see a pic. and have been told about the car. veeeeery nice. :TU: I did see the UPS car in person though. Had like only 1076 miles or something insanely low like that right? Anyway, Dave Bunch is back on realoldspower.com and he's looking for the vinyl flooring for his 70 F-85 W-31. He's been through hell the last two years. Didn't you say you have a source for that? I also ask because I may need it for my 70 F-85, although hopefully the stains will come out of my vinyl flooring.
I saw that 68 as well Dave, if I were back on the right coast I would've taken the road trip by now just to see the car in person ..............and lemme say congrats :beer 36 years...............and you never had a fight
opps Jim Jim actually it is Dave H that has only 36 years of service. I will have put in 40 years come July 17 , 2005. She is a lucky girl !! Rick I do still need a drivers side head rest for bucket seat car. I ordered a new set but I have heard bad things about the material used in repops. John
Hi John, Well I tried to clean these up but no luck, they are pretty stained. I assume you were looking for good to new condition? These would need to be recovered unless you know some way to clean them.
Need it Rick I am going to dye it anyway and if no cracks and it is still flexible, send it . Tell me the amount plus shipping UPS. Thanks John
How about $15 plus shipping? I'll run it up to ups tomorrow and see how much they want. PM me your address. :TU:
