I need to purchase a radiator shroud for my 64 Buick Special with a 300 cu in motor can any one offer any help. Plus I live in the south and the radiator in the car is only two row and is running anywhere from 210 to 250 degrees on a 75 degree day. Does anyone know where I can purchase a larger radiator. The thermostat is a 190 degree. Any suggestion would be great thanks

    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

Get a 160 thermostat and then call Orlando Radiator Wholesale.
Definitely get a 3 core rad. Also, get a 7 blade fan w/thermostatic clutch.

64 would be a down flow rad

The had shrouds on the v6 cars I think or that may be the 65s. I was just at a yard that had a 65 and 67 skylark and I know one had a shroud for the v 6. It was a long one that you might have to cut down to fit a v8. I wont be back in that yard for about 4 weeks.

I dunno if you could use it, but I have a shroud from a 66 LeSabre.

    info on radiator

I aplogize about not getting all the info out the first go around.

The radiator that is the car is a 2 row with the inlet and out let on the same side of the radiator (passenger side). There is two tanks one top and one bottom with transmission cooling in the bottom tank. the radiator support that is in the car has two tabs on the bottom and a single bolt hole on the top as if something had been mounted there.

The car has always ran warm I have had the heads redone with in the last two months the radiator has been rodded both tanks removed and cleaned along with the motor and rest of the cooling system by my pyshco radiator shop man. He recommended cutting the center out of the thermostat and putting back in. I am planning on getting 160 degree thermostat. I have a homemade shroud in there now not enough to get job done. I have seen a couple of shrouds sell on ebay so they must be out there somewhere.

would really depend on the size of the motor in you LeSabre if it is a 300 it should work.
